2007 PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES
Sunday 17 June, 10am-4pm at Wight Light Gallery, Ventnor, I.O.W.
Sunday 9 September, 10am-4pm at Wight Light Gallery, Ventnor, I.O.W.
Based on the south coast of the delightful Isle of Wight. Non-participating family and friends are welcome – there is plenty to do on the Island while the photographer in the family is honing his or her skills!
10.00 am Introduction: "Shooting action photos like a professional". Preparation of equipment; setting of photographic goals; assessment of and advice on course participants’ best existing pictures. Techniques for photographic visualisation, composition and exposure.
11.30am Outdoor Photo-shoot (weather permitting) followed by light working lunch at Wight Light Gallery. Pm Assessment of results, editing of best material. Discussion on printing methods/digital imaging and the future of photography. Lecture (if time allows): "Adventure Photo-Journalism in Antarctica".
4pm Finish for the day . NB. The schedule may vary according to the weather.
